Your ideas.
A clearer brief.

Take a minute to organize your project. Keep the notes for your call with Paul.

Fill in what you know. Every field is optional.

Your notes stay in this browser. Creating a brief does not send an enquiry or request a quote.

BRING THESE TO THE CONVERSATION

  • A few photos of the space
  • Rough measurements, if you have them
  • Your must-haves and nice-to-haves
  • Any access, strata, or timing constraints

05 / PLAN BEFORE YOU BUILD

Four things to
get clear on.

Use these questions to guide the conversation and compare the scope of any proposed work.

  1. 01

    The space & the goal

What needs to change? Which rooms, surfaces, or systems are involved, and what should stay?

  2. 02

    The scope & the budget

Discuss materials, labour, exclusions, and how unexpected conditions or changes would be handled.

  3. 03

    Approvals & timing

Confirm who handles any required drawings, permits, strata approvals, and inspection bookings.

  4. 04

    The final walkthrough

Agree on the completion checks, cleanup, outstanding items, and any written warranty terms before work starts.

07 / BEFORE YOU CALL

A few useful
answers.

Questions about the work, the planning, and where to start.

What work can I discuss with Paul?

Home renovations, kitchen and bathroom remodels, basement finishing, additions, new construction, commercial work, and property maintenance. The service directory below includes the full range, including small repairs. Call to confirm the scope and availability for your project.

What should I have ready for the first call?

Your city, the rooms or areas involved, what you want to keep or change, and your preferred timing. Photos, rough dimensions, and a comfortable budget range can help. The project brief on this page organizes those notes for you.

How much will my renovation cost?

Costs depend on the scope, the existing condition, materials, access, and any approvals or specialist work. A photo cannot reveal everything behind a wall or below a floor. Discuss the details with Paul before relying on a price.

How long will the work take?

Room size, the work involved, material availability, approvals, and access all affect timing. Let Paul know if you have a move-in date or another deadline. Confirm the schedule for your particular project before booking work.

Can I discuss a small repair or maintenance job?

Yes. The listed services include handyman work, rental repairs, strata maintenance, gutter cleaning, pressure washing, and other exterior maintenance. Describe the job and your location when you call.

Do I need a permit in Surrey?

Permit requirements depend on the work and property. Surrey publishes an interior renovation permit process for detached homes and a separate process for new or existing secondary suites. Check the City’s requirements for your exact scope before starting. Read the Surrey planning notes and official sources.

Are these before-and-after photographs?

These photographs show existing rooms, preparation, and work in progress. They are labeled by what is visible. A completed before-and-after pair has not yet been confirmed.

Do you serve my location?

Search the service areas below. Paul’s supplied list includes Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and Fraser Canyon, and communities across the B.C. Interior. Call to confirm availability and travel arrangements for your location.
